hope wine hurts computers

So australia day means I quest in vain on the playstation / then ponder stuff like…at other busier times I wish I had spare time…what of that novel? Its there, on the hard-drive…
Not reading much great poetry…where is it? In books, or what?
Australia cares a lot about cricket…

all summery

just read something by some guy (strangely I always refer to invisible drivers of cars in this way: ‘that guy back there that cut me off….what? he was a girl?’) or girl who said that he/she hates it when people start blogs and then let them die. Well I shall never let that happen.

Laurinda has a new year’s resolution to write I her journal…but I have the internet! Oh glory…but really, now uni is over I am writing less/drinking more. I think I really need work to give me that direction.

Books: Lunar Park by Bret Easton Ellis, and White Earth by Andrew McGahan. Both good; Lunar Park is astounding, it backs up one of my earlier thoughts that he is one of the best writers around. As he writes in the first chapter “this is a supposed to be a return to form”. It is.
